Shakib Al Hasan has banned from international cricket for two years.

Shakib has been handed a full ban for one year and one year suspended sentence.

The most popular Bangladeshi cricketer Shakib Al Hasan has banned by ICC for not  reporting bookie's approach.
He was asked by a bookie to reveal players information of the team and their strategies during IPL.
Shakib was approached by bookie three times and he failed to report the ICC's Anti-Corruption Unit.
"The star all-rounder Shakib is an experienced cricketer who, participated in several Anti-Corruption education sessions, was fully aware of his responsibilities." the world body said.

He is unarguably the greats of the game in Bangladesh with more than 11,000 runs and 500 wickets across three formats.

He also headed the players strike against the BCB for their demands and refused to take part in any cricketing action.

Rahim and Mehmudullah to lead bangladesh team

In absence of shakib, Mushfiqur Rahim will lead the bangladesh test team in the upcoming tour to India having two test matches and three T20 Internationals.
Mehmudullah Riyadh Mosaddek Hossain will lead the bangladesh in T20 internationals against India starting from Nov 3 in Delhi.
